Swiss Irish folk and dialect pop

The Zurich singer-songwriter likes variety. She serves the genres of Irish folk, dialect pop/folk and almost everything in between. So it is no surprising that she released “Du, min Schatz” as her debut single, a dialect version of the Irish classic song “Danny Boy”.
She also likes variety on stage, which manifests itself, for example, in her concert format “Stelldichein”, where she invites songwriters from other genres to perform unamplified co-concerts several times a year. Even with her Irish folk duo “SaitWind”, a musical crosswind is guaranteed.
There is a good dose of “swissirishfolk” in all her programs for good reason.
Over the past 20 years, she has joined the “Trousers of Kilkenny”, been active in loose and permanent formations, managed a calendar of events for the Irish folk scene in Switzerland, led learning sessions and a bodhrán group, and is still active as a founding member of the “Alte Kaserne” sessions in Winterthur, where she helps to create the supporting program for top-class Celtic concerts. She recently started organizing a slowsession in Winterthur.
Rose is an curious artist with many facets who enjoys writing songs, creating unusual covers, accompanying herself on mandola and guitar and occasionally playing her bodhrán at Irish sessions.
